Ariana is a Costa Rican/American filmmaker living in Chicago, IL with her husband and son. Ariana is the daughter of a father with schizophrenia and has spent much of her life studying the ways in which mental illness impacts the individuals who live with them and the family and friends who support those individuals. She lives a beautiful, imperfect life and believes that we are not defined by our biggest mistakes and that who we truly are can be seen by looking at our consistent actions over time.
